Who We are

The Coral Springs Swim Club is a premier community swim team in Florida, USA. This year-round competitive swim team is a member of USA Swimming, the Olympic development program for competitive swimming.

We are a gathering place:

  • Where youth can associate with athletes who are focused and goal oriented, developing winning attitudes and healthy lifestyles. Where character is developed along with a spirit of achievement.

  • Where pride, motivation, and abilities are tested by competition, enhanced by education and tempered by sportsmanship.

What We Do

The Coral Springs Swim Club maintains a multilevel team geared towards the individual needs of the swimmer. The coaches endeavor to train, teach and motivate young people to achieve their highest potential in swimming, in the belief that this experience will prove valuable to them in the future. Through excellence in swimming they will be learning life-long skills in time management, goal setting, and goal achievement.

How We Go About It

The Coral Springs Swim Club provides a comprehensive approach to age group and senior competitive swimming. Emphasis is placed on fundamental skills, stroke technique, physical conditioning, productive work habits, character growth, healthy competition and most of all, enjoyment of the sport.

Competitive swimming helps to develop discipline and encourages self-esteem. Novice swimmers, as well as future Olympians, are provided venues and coaching at all levels to ensure that swimming is fun as well as rewarding.

A Record of Success

Winning is not everything; but, it can be a handy way to measure whether or not a certain approach is achieving the desired results. CSSC is proud of its consistent winning tradition at every level.

The Coral Springs Swim Club has consistently ranked as one of the top 4 swim clubs in the nation for teaching stroke excellence.

CSSC has won the Florida Gold Coast Junior Olympics Championship titles in Spring, 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000 and 2005. The FGC is a fast, competitive LSC with several clubs always in contention for the top honors.

Seven active CSSC swimmers compete for their colleges. In 2005, six of them made it to the NCAA Championships.

In 2000, three CSSC swimmers participated in the Sydney Olympics Games. While in 2004, four CSSC swimmers represented four different countries at the Athens Games.

But, it is not just about being the best, it is about each swimmer becoming his or her best! We believe we have a place for anyone who desires to become the best swimmer he or she can be.
