This year, Florida Swim Network (FSN), an online magazine and live webcast provider of swimming and diving events in the state of Florida, will cover the Finals sessions of the 2015 Short Course FGC Junior Olympic Championship from March 6 to 8. This exciting competition will attract the fastest 14-and-under swimmers of the South Florida tri-county area (Miami-Dade, Broward and West Palm Beach). Florida Gold Coast (FGC), the Local Swimming Committee (LSC) that regulates competitive swimming in the region, establishes a set of rigorous time cuts for age groupers that determine their eligibility into this championship. The meet is commonly known as J.O.

The Coral Springs Swim Club (CSSC) has hosted the Short Course J.O. every March since 2005. This championship will take place at the Coral Springs Aquatic Complex located at the end of Royal Palm Boulevard, near the Everglades. “We are excited to offer this feature this year,” said Coach Bruno Darzi. “The live webcast is an excellent resource for families, coaches and swimmers. Everybody, near and far can watch the races and take part of the excitement,” he added.

In order to offset the cost of live webcasts, FSN has set up a fundraiser called: Meet Starter, through which, the swimming community can donate and make the live streaming of relevant events possible. As stated in FSN’s website, people can now “decide [their] next meet.” The total to raise for coverage of the upcoming Junior Olympics is $1,844.00. People can contribute with any amount.
