On October 12th, CSSC swimmers and parents delivered all the food collected from our Annual Food Drive, and served food to the homeless at the Broward Outreach Center in Pompano. It was such a humbling experience for everyone involved. Special thanks to CSSC swimmers: Wilson Ward, Sam McCormick, Gian Luca Savino, Andres McKeon, Megan Schimansky, Ashley Nagy, Amber Candido, and Sara Laplant, and Parents: Danica Schimansky, Mike Nagy, and Lynn McCormick. Also a special thank you to everyone who contributed with their donations.

The Miami Rescue Mission posted a very nice message thanking CSSC for their support: "Thank you Coral Springs Swim Club volunteers for serving meals and helping with the meal prep at the Broward Outreach Center Pompano. We are grateful for your donation of much needed non-perishable food for the residents"

Since 1922, the Miami Rescue Mission, Inc., a faith-based agency, has served individuals who are homeless and in need in South Florida. They serve nearly 1,400 individuals every day.  Last Year, they provided over 350,000 bed nights and served over 989,000 meals to homeless men, women and children in our three campuses located in Miami, Pompano, and Hollywood
