Kuczynski Golden On Final Day Of Canadian Summer Nationals

Caroline Kuczynski saved her best for the last day of the Canadian Summer National Championships at the Kinsmen Sport Centre in Edmonton.
After finishing fourth, fifth and sixth, Kuczynski, 21, won a gold medal in the 400-meter medley relay on Sunday, the fourth and final day of the national meet that attracted more than 400 swimmers.
The 2016 Canadian Olympic hopeful and her Pointe-Claire Swim Club teammates Alexia Zevnik, 18, Ashley McGregor, 19, and Alyson Ackman, 19, won. They were seeded first in 4:07.23, nearly three seconds ahead of University of Calgary Swim Club (4:10.13).
“Finally gold,” Kuczynski tweeted.
Kuczynski was also fourth in the 400-meter freestyle relay, fifth in the 100-meter butterfly and sixth in the 50-meter butterfly.
