Brandon Goldman of the Coral Springs Swim Club will make his debut at the USA Swimming Speedo Junior National Championships at Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis.
Goldman, 17, a senior at St. Thomas Aquinas, will compete in the 100- and 200-meter backstroke and 400-meter individual medley.
Goldman, who started swimming twelve years ago, is coming off his most successful long course season. He will compete in the 400 IM and 200 backstroke on Tuesday and 100 backstroke on Thursday.
His career-best times in the events are 59.26 in the 100 backstroke, 2:08.60 in the 200 backstroke and 4:39.27 in the 400 IM.
